Broadplace opens in Quatt
Date: 12 April 2005
Quatt celebrates the launch of its Community Broadplace at Quatt Village Hall on Saturday 16 April 2005 from 2.00pm.
All members of the local community are invited to the Village Hall on Saturday between 2 and 6 pm to experience how a fast broadband connection improves the online experience for playing games, searching information, shopping and learning. The Switch on Shropshire project to bring the benefits of broadband to the businesses and communities of Shropshire has provided the funding and IT support to open the Broadplace.
Val Lewis, Switch on Shropshire's Community Adviser said
- "This is an opportunity for the people of Quatt to try the flexibility of broadband and we are very keen to hear their suggestions as to how their Broadplace could develop in the future."
